6 AM AKST MONDAY...

* WAVES AND SURF...WILL PUSH TO THE TOP OF THE BEACH.

* WINDS...WEST WINDS TO 50 MPH.

* TIMING...SURF LEVELS WILL INCREASE TONIGHT AND REMAIN HIGH 
  THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT. THE HIGHEST SURF WILL BE SUNDAY 
  AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL TURN WEST THIS EVENING AND THEN BECOME 
  VERY STRONG BY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. WINDS WILL DECREASE 
  SUNDAY NIGHT. 

* IMPACTS...HIGH SURF WILL CAUSE WATER TO WASH TO THE TOP OF THE 
  BEACH. MINOR BEACH EROSION IS EXPECTED. THE YUKON RIVER WILL 
  RISE TO HIGH LEVELS IN THE YUKON DELTA.

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT LOCALIZED BEACH EROSION IS

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM AKST
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain with up to one half inch of ice 
  accumulation. Areas of heavy snow with 4 to 8 inches of 
  accumulation. Local blizzard conditions. Travel will be very 
  difficult to impossible.

* WHERE...Yukon Delta.

* WHEN...3 AM today to 3 PM Sunday. Snow will change to freezing 
  rain today, then change back to snow late tonight. There will 
  be local blizzard conditions and strong winds late tonight 
  into Sunday. Conditions will improve Sunday late afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 60 mph along the 
  coast will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet
and ice are occurring. This will make travel very hazardous or
impossible. Strong winds are also possible.

showers and rain in the evening, then a slight chance of snow

Gusts  up to 50 mph until early morning.
