TO 6 PM AKST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. In addition, areas of 
  poor visibility are expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 
  6 inches, and ice accumulations of less than one tenth of an 
  inch are expected.

* WHERE...Lower Yukon Valley.

* WHEN...3 AM Wednesday to 6 PM Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will 
  cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.

.TONIGHT...Partly cloudy with a chance of snow in the evening,
then cloudy with snow likely after midnight. Snow accumulation of
1 inch. Lows in the lower to mid 20s. Southeast winds 10 mph.
.WEDNESDAY...Snow likely and a chance of freezing rain. Snow 
accumulation 2 inches. Highs in the lower to mid 30s. South winds
5 to 15 mph.
