...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKST
WEDNESDAY...

* LOCATION...Along the Coast from the the Yukon Delta to the 
  Nome. 

* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor flooding of low lying areas is 
  possible. 

* TIMING...Through 6 AM Wednesday morning. Water levels will
  gradually fall through the night.  
  

* IMPACTS...High water may push into low lying areas along the 
  coast such lagoons and rivers from the Yukon Delta to Nome. 
  Water is expected to push on top of shore fast ice and river 
  ice which could impact anyone trying to travel across the ice. 
  No buildings are expected to flood. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM WEDNESDAY
TO 6 AM AKST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. In addition, areas of 
  poor visibility are expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 
  inches, and ice accumulations of less than one tenth of an 
  inch are expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Norton Sound and Nulato Hills.

* WHEN...3 AM Wednesday to 6 AM Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph will cause 
  areas of blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.

.TODAY...Partly cloudy with a slight chance of snow. Highs in the
lower 30s. Southwest winds 15 to 30 mph.
.TONIGHT...Partly cloudy with a slight chance of snow in the
evening, then cloudy with a chance of snow after midnight.  Lows 
in the mid to upper 20s. South winds 10 to 20 mph.
.WEDNESDAY...Snow likely with a chance of freezing rain.  Snow 
accumulation up to 1 inch. Highs in the mid 30s. Southeast winds 
15 to 25 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Cloudy. Snow likely. Areas of blowing snow. 
Lows in the mid to upper 20s. South winds 10 to 20 mph.
.THURSDAY...Cloudy. Snow likely in the morning, then a chance of
snow in the afternoon. Areas of blowing snow. Highs in the lower
30s. West winds 15 to 30 mph.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of snow in the
evening. Areas of blowing snow in the evening. Lows around 10.
